New Teacher - When Catastrophe Strikes!
As a new teacher we are bound to have good days and bad days; but ultimately it is how we enjoy our great days and deal with our bad days that will make the difference of us loving or hating our jobs. As teachers we can have things that arise in our classrooms that seem like little catastrophes. These catastrophes can manifest into our day in many ways.

Guidance Counselors - Saviours in Disguise
Society transmits through the most effective means messages that are ultimately geared towards our change in perspectives, in habits and in self conviction. Most of us have somehow survived the 'claws' that have outstretched itself with only one purpose, transformation or detonation. Unfortunately many have not been lucky to make it to 'touchdown' and the result today are higher statistical reports of teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, alcoholics and loss of self.

The beginning of the school year is a tough time for everyone - students find it a major shift from their once carefree summer-time, parents need to get back into the routine of schedules, lunches, timetables and homework, and teachers are busy preparing classrooms, programming, schedules and completing other related teacher administrivia. The universal theme, or agent, that unites three parties in a cooperative learning environment is the focus of this article.
